Your Zodiac sign may have changed. It seems that when astrology got started 3000 years ago the earth's position in relation to the sun was different. Since we're in a different position now, the dates for the old signs may have changed and there's a 13th sign (Ophiuchus) now. I've listed the new dates for the signs below...I always thought I was an Aquarius but this says I'm a Capricorn now. I have my doubts and think anybody really interested should probably get their full astrological chart done. Either way, I thought this was interesting, and i'll post a link to a story about it below the dates. What do you think of this?

Aries: April 18 - May 13
Taurus: May 13 - June 21

Libra: Oct. 30 - Nov. 23

ReplyDeleteIt kind of makes astrology look rather silly doesn't it? People thought they were such and such a way because they were a specific sign but it turns out they werent that sign all a long... It's probably one of those things were people become whatever you label them. I guess it's just easier for people to be told what to do.
ReplyDeleteyeah, really i think most of the horoscopes and such apply to most people of any sign. something like the forer effect in cold reading where people take whatever you say and interpret it to apply to them.

ReplyDeleteAs for Astrology, I dunno. Planets, stars, even the moon are all freaking huge. To say they have absolutely no effect on the way we feel might be a little out of line. I do prefer to be in control of my life as much as anyone else though.
