Just for fun...this isn't a real explosive like some of my previous posts, but it looks like it might put on a neat little show for an inexpensive price. Making your own fireworks is fun. I haven't had a chance to test this recipe, but it would be interesting if it works. I'll try it out when I get around to it. If any of you guys test this, let me know your results. Also, be careful not to let the can tip over. I don't want my readers getting hurt and trying to sue me or something.
I must do it at home :D
ReplyDeletecool, now I NEVER HAVE TO PAY FOR FOR CHEAP FIREWORKS AGAIN
ReplyDeletelol, will give it a try :D
ReplyDeleteEh, sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.
ReplyDeleteHaha that is amazing, don't worry I won't sue if I get hurt !
ReplyDeleteThis seems safe. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
ReplyDeletenice thing to do when im bored*g*
ReplyDeleteoh wow... this doesnt seem incredibly hard... might try it out for 7/4~!
ReplyDelete>:3
I remember when I tried to make homemade tomato soup and there was an explosion. I don't think I will try this.
ReplyDeleteyeah, it looks pretty simple. i'd bury it partially or add a sandbag or 2 to make sure it doesn't tip over, but it seems pretty safe.
ReplyDeleteNo thanks haha :) Informative image though!
ReplyDelete@Jimmy, if you're making soup explode, this might not be for you.
ReplyDeletethis looks awesome
ReplyDeleteseems easy enough. Ill definately give this a try!
ReplyDeleteWow, a cheap way to entertain stoners and kids! Who says we need video games?
ReplyDeleteI do.
But still, thanks for the info.
I'm going to try this, I hope I don't get killed.
ReplyDeleteI must say I'm a lot more comfortable with this project than your last posts, haha. Thanks. I'll let someone else test this before I do it, I'm pretty accident prone.

ReplyDeleteI hope this isn't like the duct tape spoon thing where it explodes when you're tying to put it together.
ReplyDeletehey. thanks for that manual :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I will try it someday
yeah, this one is a lot safer for most people than some of my previous posts. :)
ReplyDelete@punk1119,
ReplyDeletethe chemicals wont react even if mixed, so you shouldnt have any trouble putting it together.

ReplyDeleteI don't feel safe doing this.

ReplyDeleteHmm....might try it out on independence day
ReplyDeleteyou can put still like iron and aluminum to create the different colors right?
ReplyDeleteYou really bring out the pyro in all of us..
ReplyDeleteJust a little warning from the experience, try not to breathe the powder in or rub your eyes when it's on your hands.
ReplyDeleteStand away from the new showy bomb when you're watching it, please.
yeah watchman you should be able to add stuff to change the colours but i havent messed around with this recipe so i wouldn't know what ratio to use for the additives, but feel free to experiment.
ReplyDeleteThat non-dairy creamer is what burns well. Cool thing is it's not really flammable, it's just that it has a high surface area, and burns quickly. I love to do with with (pure cornstarch) baby powder at bonfires.
ReplyDeleteWhat's really funny is to show off that it's "flammable" and then throw a whole bottle on, and watch everyone run off like it's a bottle of gasoline. Meanwhile, you can stick your face over it and everyone will shit themselves over your ballsiness.
You should check out my blog, I think you would like it:

I saw the cornstarch thing in mythbusters i think. Fireworks got me in enough trouble already, i'll pass this one!
ReplyDeleteI'll try it tomorrow. Just in case anything bad happens I'll tell my friends to get it on tape! haha
