I did this a few times and found a few traffic cameras, one at an airport, and some other random stuff. It's something to try out the next time you're bored. No downloading of anything required, so it isn't a virus or anything, just something to do to kill some time. If you find any really interesting ones let me know.

I also tested this a while back. 2 times, the same camera the first time there was nothing except a view of a room, the next day there was a woman folding clothes in the room lol... just felt like super spy mode.

look through the search results. ones with an ip in the address are a good bet, but others work too. i just did a search for the example i gave and found several. this says it's a mallcam but it's not very good:
