...i got better.
Thanks to all the people who wished me a speedy recovery. I found some good ways to treat an ulcer and I'm doing much better now. I thought I'd need to go to a hospital, but apparently I can treat it myself. Zantac(or generic) reduces stomach acid which hurts an ulcer, yogurt has cultures which will line the stomach and prevent further damage, and apparently studies show that the antioxidants, tannins, and free radicals in tea, can help to heal it pretty quickly. So I'm feeling much better already and hope to have something good to post tomorrow.
I slept almost all day for some reason, just couldn't seem to get up. Probably because the stomach pain had been disrupting my regular sleep schedule and polyphasic sleep isn't very flexible. Things should go back to normal tomorrow. At least it's the weekend and I didn't have anything important to do. Thanks again guys.

ReplyDeleteThats harsh bro. At least your educated about the best way to treat it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that winter bug can be a killer, I had it at the beginning of the year. I guess you got the Deluxe Ulcer Pack though :[
ReplyDeleteGood to hear this :)
ReplyDeleteUlcers are definitely no fun. I'm glad to hear you're getting better, though. Also, Acai smoothies are pretty cheap and are a good source of healthy nutrients.
ReplyDeleteGood stuff. I'd still keep an eye on it though, just in case.
ReplyDeleteFind that info online? Who needs doctors anyway. They have experience in certain things, but for the most part the internet is much better (and cheaper) anyway.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better bro. Followed!

yep found most of that online or in a book. i only see a doctor as a real last resort. mostly i can self-diagnose with the internet.
ReplyDeleteAnti-oxidants are broken down by the liver if they're not naturally present. Eat blueberries!
