No Regrets

So I was walking home from the store earlier and a car sped by driving sort of recklessly.  It made me think what if he hit me, and I died tonight.  My next thought was, wow I would really regret not dismounting one of my hard drives before I left the house.  That was it.  I actually think I'd be totally okay with dieing randomly if I'd dismounted my hard drive first.  No other serious regrets in life.

So I'm curious, if you were to die tonight, would you be satisfied with your life?  Is there something you wish you'd done but never got around to it?  What, if anything, would you regret doing or not doing?

    I would regret not telling my older brother that I have never felt so much hatred for a single person more than him.

    Always. There is always something more to do and create. I would list stuff, but it's kind of pointless. I'm one of those creative types who can't stop creating if they tried, so I'd be pretty content living forever and churning out stuff.

    I wouldn't be satisfied with dying until I found some purpose in my life. like, if I died saving someone else from dying, I'd be satisfied lol. But at this point, it would only be a lot of pointless pain for those around me. Like, my girlfriend, for example, has said that if I died, she'd probably kill herself. Which means a lot to me, but that's the last thing I'd want to happen, you know? death is so depressing. lol

    yeah thats a valid point, but you'd still have time for regrets as you lay there dying, regardless of what you believe would happen after you're dead.

    yeah, its pretty funny, you can bet i'll be dismounting that drive when i go out from now on. lol.

    Hm, I'd regret that my parents would have to see my death before I got to see theirs =( I don't think I "get" what regret means haha. Fine, I should skydive sometime soon and some other things I had in mind.

    I'd regret never having had the guts to finish the novels I've started writing and sending them off. I suppose I could use a near death experience to give me a kick up the arse to actually do it lol
